【SUI of Tokyo】Hokkaido Kombu With Ginger combines premium kombu (kelp) harvested from the cold waters of Hokkaido with aromatic slices of ginger. This natural umami-packed snack is chewy, slightly spicy, and delightfully satisfying — great on its own, as a side dish, or a topping for rice and noodles.

Cooking Instructions

For All Kind of Soup:

  • After defrosting the soup, pour soup into a pot along with chicken drumsticks and seasonal vegetables of your choice. Bring everything to a boil.
  • Microwave: Pour defrosted soup into a microwaveable safe container, place lid with ventilation holes, and microwave for 5-7 minutes (1300W microwave oven).
  • Electric cooker: Pour frozen soup into the cooker and heat.
  • Water-heating: Once the frozen soup is thawed, place the entire heat safe bag into a boiling pot of water enough to cover the entire surface. Heat over medium heat for 3-5 minutes.

Braised Beef Soup(with Beef Shank), Braised Beef Tendon, Thirty Spices Chef Spicy Fermented Tofu, Frozen Baked Sweet Potato, Braised Napa Cabbage:

  • After defrosting the soup and shank, pour it into a pot. Bring everything to a boil.

We have the following shipping methods:

SHIPPING

  • Both online and phone orders must be placed before Thursday of each week no later than 1:00PM(13:00). After 1:00PM (13:00) it will be considered shipment for Monday.
  • Shipping days are from Monday through Thursday. No weekend shipping (Friday through Sunday). Depending on order date chicken essence will arrive Tuesday through Friday of each week.
  • We do not process orders on all major holidays. ALL methods are done within business days.
  • We ship via FedEx Next Day Air only.
  • Please allow 2-3 business days for processing orders

  • Free Local Delivery if orders meet minimum total of US$100
  • Orders under $100, delivery fee is US$15

  • Customers will get a text reminder one business day prior to delivery day. Should you need to change delivery, please text or call back.
  • On the delivery day, the dispatch will send a text message with estimated arrival time of the day so you can plan your day better. (Delivery is generally made between 9 am to 6 pm)

Next Day Air Shipping

  • All frozen goods are shipped Next Day Air (except for special seasonal items)
  • Shipping days are from Monday through Thursday (October - May) and Monday through Wednesday (June-September)
  • Broth is not responsible for shipping information error or lost/stolen packages

All orders placed are Non-refundable due to the nature of fresh products unless quality issues.

Broth will package our frozen products with insulated bags and ice gel packs to maintain the freshness of the products, however, we are not able to guarantee the items will stay in frozen state upon arrival. Please be advised that as long as the items are below 41F, it is safe to consume.

Taste Great with White Rice

I like the Kombo, it is an excellent pair with white rice or brown rice. A very enjoyable food to have.

Delicious to pair with rice

I paired this kombu ginger condiment with rice, and they taste delicious together. The product tasted sweet and flavorful. Kombu and ginger are healthy as well. Although I wish it doesn't contain any sugar as this would make it even healthier.
