Royal Fish Maw
Royal Fish Maw Soup|Luxurious Collagen-Rich Comfort in a Bowl
Looking for a soup that feels like a special occasion, even on a regular day? This is it – our Royal Fish Maw Soup, created for moments when you want to truly treat yourself and your loved ones.
We use carefully prepared, premium Mexican butterfly fish maw, soaked and processed to achieve a springy, silky, collagen-rich texture. Every bite has that satisfying, gentle chew without feeling heavy, with a light, natural ocean aroma that’s elegant rather than “fishy.”
The fish maw is paired with a slow-simmered superior broth and a savory abalone-style sauce, layering together depth, sweetness, and umami. The result is a soup that’s rich but refined – smooth, full of body, and beautifully rounded in flavor. It’s the kind of bowl that makes you naturally slow down and savor each sip.
In many traditional food cultures, fish maw is seen as a treasured, nourishing delicacy and a way to add a little extra “care” to the table. Whether you’re celebrating a special dinner, hosting family, honoring elders, or simply want to add some ceremony to an ordinary day, this soup brings both luxury and comfort to every serving.

Cooking Instructions (click to expand)
This product is a frozen soup (broth with fish maw). For the best taste and texture, heat until the soup is fully boiling and the fish maw is completely hot all the way through.
Microwave heating is not recommended, as it can cause uneven heating and affect the broth and fish maw texture.
1️⃣ Stovetop (most recommended)
- Remove the pouch from the freezer and allow it to thaw slightly in the fridge or at room temperature.
- Cut open the pouch and pour the fish maw and broth into a pot.
- If you prefer a lighter taste, you may add a small amount of water to adjust the richness and seasoning to your liking.
- Heat over medium to medium-low heat until the soup comes to a full, rolling boil. Let it gently boil for a few more minutes to ensure the fish maw is thoroughly heated.
- You can also add a few extra ingredients such as vegetables, mushrooms, or scallops to build an even more festive “seafood feast in a bowl.”
2️⃣ Electric cooker / rice cooker (hands-off option)
- Allow the pouch to fully thaw in the refrigerator before heating.
- Cut open the pouch and pour all contents into the inner pot of your rice cooker.
- Add a little water if desired to adjust the broth intensity. Add water to the outer pot as you usually do (about 1 cup), then turn it on.
- When it switches to “warm,” gently stir the soup and check that it has come to a boil at least once and that the fish maw is heated through. If needed, run one more short cycle.
3️⃣ Hot water bath (for minimal cleanup)
- Move the pouch from the freezer to the fridge or room temperature until it is partially or fully thawed.
- Without opening the pouch, place it into a pot of boiling water. Make sure the water level fully covers the pouch.
- Keep at a gentle boil for about 8–10 minutes, turning the pouch occasionally so it heats evenly.
- Carefully remove the pouch, cut it open, and pour the soup and fish maw into a bowl or small pot. Enjoy as is, or briefly reheat on the stovetop if you’d like it extra hot.
※ For best enjoyment, make sure the soup has reached a full boil and the fish maw is hot in the center before serving.
※ Photos are for plating suggestions; actual contents are as indicated on the package.
Tips & Notes (click to expand)
- Please store in the freezer upon arrival. For the best flavor and texture, enjoy before the “best by” date on the package.
- Once opened and heated, we do not recommend refreezing. If you have leftovers, refrigerate and finish within 1–2 days.
- This soup is best enjoyed warm or hot so you can fully appreciate the aroma, depth of the broth, and the silky, bouncy texture of the fish maw. Room-temperature or cold consumption is not recommended.
- If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, recovering from surgery, managing a long-term condition, or taking regular medications, please check with your doctor or dietitian about the portion and frequency that are suitable for you.
- This product is intended as part of everyday home cooking and traditional food culture. It does not replace professional medical advice or a balanced diet.
