1. Storage
- Keep frozen：Place all items in the freezer as soon as your order arrives.
- For best flavor and quality, enjoy each item before the “best by” date on its package.
2. Chicken Essence
- Take 1 frozen pouch from the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for 1–2 minutes.
- Without opening the pouch, place it into a pot of gently boiling water.
- Heat over medium-low for about 3–5 minutes.
- Carefully remove, cut open, and pour into a cup. Enjoy warm for the best aroma and mouthfeel.
- Microwaving and cold/room-temperature drinking are not recommended, as they may affect texture and overall experience.
3. Soups & Broths
(Braised Beef Soup, Golden Chicken Broth / Golden Chicken Broth with Drumsticks, Beef Bone Broth)

Stovetop：
1) Thaw slightly until you can cut open the pouch.
2) Pour contents into a pot. For broth bases, you may add water and extra ingredients (meat, tofu, veggies, noodles) as desired.
3) Heat over medium to medium-low until the soup comes to a full simmer and is hot throughout.
4) Serve as-is, or use as the base for noodle soup, hotpot, or congee. - Rice cooker：Pour contents into a heat-safe bowl, cover, and place in the cooker. Add ½–1 cup of water to the outer pot, turn on, and let it heat until hot, then rest a few minutes before serving.
4. Braises & Ready-to-Serve Dishes
(Braised Pork Belly, Braised Minced Meat, Braised Beef Tendon, Braised Napa Cabbage)
- Remove from the freezer and thaw just enough to open the pouch.
- Stovetop：Pour into a small pot and heat over low to medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sauce gently bubbles and everything is fully hot.
- Rice cooker：Pour into a heat-safe bowl, cover, place in cooker with ½ cup of water in the outer pot, heat until it switches to “warm,” then rest a few minutes.

– Braised Minced Meat & Braised Pork Belly: perfect over rice, noodles, or vegetables.
– Braised Beef Tendon: great as a side dish or added into Braised Beef Soup.

- Microwave: Pour defrosted soup into a microwaveable safe container, place lid with ventilation holes, and microwave for 5-7 minutes (1300W microwave oven).
- Electric cooker: Pour frozen soup into the cooker and heat.
- Water-heating: Once the frozen soup is thawed, place the entire heat safe bag into a boiling pot of water enough to cover the entire surface. Heat over medium heat for 3-5 minutes.
Braised Beef Soup(with Beef Shank), Braised Beef Tendon, Thirty Spices Chef Spicy Fermented Tofu, Frozen Baked Sweet Potato, Braised Napa Cabbage:

- Both online and phone orders must be placed before Thursday of each week no later than 1:00PM(13:00). After 1:00PM (13:00) it will be considered shipment for Monday.
- Shipping days are from Monday through Thursday. No weekend shipping (Friday through Sunday). Depending on order date chicken essence will arrive Tuesday through Friday of each week.
- We do not process orders on all major holidays. ALL methods are done within business days.
- We ship via FedEx Next Day Air only.
- Please allow 2-3 business days for processing orders

Local Delivery (within 35 miles from our Walnut, CA Store)
- Free Local Delivery if orders meet minimum total of US$100
- Orders under $100, delivery fee is US$15
- Delivery day is based on the 3rd party delivery service route schedule. Customers may not request specific delivery days of the week for delivery.
- Customers will get a text reminder one business day prior to delivery day. Should you need to change delivery, please text or call back.
- On the delivery day, the dispatch will send a text message with estimated arrival time of the day so you can plan your day better. (Delivery is generally made between 9 am to 6 pm)
Next Day Air Shipping
- All frozen goods are shipped Next Day Air (except for special seasonal items)
- Shipping days are from Monday through Thursday (October - May) and Monday through Wednesday (June-September)
- Broth is not responsible for shipping information error or lost/stolen packages

Broth will package our frozen products with insulated bags and ice gel packs to maintain the freshness of the products, however, we are not able to guarantee the items will stay in frozen state upon arrival. Please be advised that as long as the items are below 41F, it is safe to consume.
