Braised Beef Tendon
Braised Beef Tendon|Rich, Bouncy, and Seriously Addictive
If you’re a beef tendon person, this is the one you’ll want to keep in your freezer at all times. Our Braised Beef Tendon is one of those “once you try it, you’ll reorder” dishes — full of flavor, with that perfect bouncy, QQ bite that tendon lovers dream about.
We carefully select quality beef tendon and braise it low and slow in our house braising sauce, made with aromatics, spices, and soy. The result? Tendon that’s soft but still pleasantly chewy, full of collagen, and deeply infused with savory braised flavor — rich, glossy, and incredibly satisfying with every bite.
Enjoy it chilled as a braised appetizer, warmed up over rice or noodles, or dropped into a bowl of braised beef soup for that extra “wow.” However you eat it, it has a way of making you think, “Next time, I should really order an extra pack.”
※ Photos are for serving suggestions. Actual product contains braised beef tendon only — vegetables, noodles, and other sides are not included.
Cooking Instructions (click to expand)
This product is fully cooked braised beef tendon. After thawing, it can be enjoyed chilled or warmed up, depending on how you like it.
1️⃣ Serve Chilled (thaw & slice)
- Transfer the pouch from the freezer to the refrigerator until fully thawed, or thaw at room temperature until soft.
- Cut open the pouch and slice the tendon into bite-size pieces if needed.
- Plate and enjoy as a cold appetizer. Optional: top with sliced scallions, cilantro, chili, or a splash of vinegar for a refreshing, snack-style dish.
2️⃣ With Braised Beef Soup or Noodles
- Thaw the tendon in the fridge or at room temperature until no longer rock solid.
- Heat up a pot of braised beef soup or beef noodle soup (perfect with our Braised Beef Soup with Beef Shank).
- Add the beef tendon to the soup and bring everything to a boil.
- Let it simmer a few extra minutes so the tendon soaks up the broth, then serve with noodles or rice.
3️⃣ Stovetop (for serving warm)
- Thaw the pouch slightly, then cut it open and pour the tendon and sauce into a small pot.
- Add a splash of water or broth if you prefer a bit more sauce.
- Heat over low to medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sauce is gently bubbling and the tendon is hot throughout.
4️⃣ Hot Water Bath (minimal cleanup)
- Let the pouch thaw partially or fully in the fridge or at room temperature.
- Place the sealed pouch into a pot of boiling water, making sure it’s fully submerged.
- Keep at a gentle boil for about 5–8 minutes, turning the pouch once or twice for even heating.
- Carefully remove, cut open, and pour into a bowl. Enjoy as-is, or serve over rice, noodles, or veggies.
※ For the best flavor and texture, serve the tendon fully thawed and, if heating, piping hot. Chilled, it has a firmer, snappier bite; warm, it becomes extra silky and luscious.
Tips & Notes (click to expand)
- Store in the freezer upon arrival, and enjoy before the “best by” date on the package for optimal flavor and texture.
- Once opened, if you don’t finish the entire pack, refrigerate leftovers and enjoy within 1–2 days. Refreezing after opening is not recommended.
- It’s normal for the sauce or collagen to become jelly-like or for fat to solidify when chilled — this will melt back into a smooth, glossy sauce when warmed.
- This product contains beef and may contain soy, wheat, or other allergens. Please refer to the ingredient list on the package for full allergen details.
